Captain Vegetable!

I felt like posting something totally different today.  Admittedly, this is a bit out there, but what the heck, I can't be serious all the time :^)

When I was a little kid, my favorite TV show was Sesame Street.  (From what I've heard, Sesame Street has a major international audience outside North America as well, so I'll assume most of my readers have seen it too.)

Among my many childhood memories are a number of scenes from that show.  Most of them are totally unrelated to the theme of Real-World Raw Health and Nutrition, but there is one exception --- kinda.

Like I said, this is pretty goofy, but every once in a while, when I'm loading up my shopping cart with fruits and veggies or sitting down to a huge salad I remember this...

I sincerely doubt seeing Captain Vegetable when I was three years old had anything to do with my becoming a raw-vegan, but anything's possible I suppose.

P.S. While I was hunting down the original video clip on Youtube, I stumbled across this other one as well.  I had never seen this one before, so it's probably more recent.

For some reason, I can't find this role mentioned in John Leguizamo's filmography, haha!
